SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service govern text messages sent by The Bearman Firm to the mobile numbers of prospective and existing clients who have expressly opted in to receive SMS from us.

Program description. The Bearman Firm sends SMS text messages to prospective and existing clients who have provided their phone number and expressly consented to receive SMS from us. Messages are limited to consultation confirmations and reminders. The firm does not send promotional or bulk marketing messages.

How to cancel. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the number that sent you the message. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Carrier disclaimer. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message and data rates. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency is estimated at up to approximately 4 messages per month per recipient.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.
